I always thought Joe was hot for a computer guy and wished he was real. I think Joe might be from India since guys there look like him.

*weirded out* good thing Joe Carr didn't show up in Strangetown and try to take General Buzzs place, because if you would have done that, first off, you'd have one heartbroken Captain Vincent, and second, SimNation would be destroyed! Either way, good video.

How do you clone sims?

It's a bit involved. Each neighborhood creates a user package file and stores it in the Characters folder. If you knew which character was which, you'd just copy the file and put it in your downloads folder, but they're labled like this - N001_User00021.package - which doesn't tell you who's who. To clone a specific sim, you'd need to download SimPE, which lets you find the sim by name/picture and extract them back into your game. Then you can recreate as many as you need in CAS.

If you have a sim in your game that you want to clone, you could try moving them to a small empty lot, packaging the lot to a file and then installing that lot with the sim to the neighborhood you want them. Otherwise you'd want to download and use SimPE to extract a certain sim so they show up as a selectable existing sim in CAS when you create a family.

I had him come home with my sim from work, he was a general. Then the next sim day he came home with his wife who is a scientist.

That's exactly what happened to me! He was a fast food worker AND a doctor. So I decided there must be more than one Joe Carr, like in this video, and they're taking all the jobs! ;)
