Challenging members of Congress opposed to reforming health care, Senator Jon Tester today shared "startling news" about dramatic health insurance rate increases set to hit Montana families.

In a Senate floor speech, Tester described conversations he had this week with school employees across Montana who are about to see their health insurance costs rise by as much as 70-80 percent.

  • Senator,

This "proposed" health care legislation must be stopped.

Americans, Montanans want jobs, not a rush to get health care passed.

Again, Don't want it, don't need it.

  • Fix it. YES ! Mandate it. NO ! Your democratic majority is history, sir.

March 15, 2010 - A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 43% favor the health care plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats, while 53% oppose it. Those findings include 23% who Strongly Favor the plan and 46% who Strongly Oppose it

Fifty-seven percent (57%) of voters also believe the health care reform plan now working its way through Congress will hurt the U.S. economy.
