Seven years of music. Nine soundtrack releases. Three-hundred sixty-seven tracks. One amazing, supportive fanbase. To say the music of Doctor Who is exceptional is as much an understatement to say the same of the show itself. And I, for one, am proud to consider myself a huge fan of it all. In this four-part medley, I've taken five-second samples of each of those 367 tracks from each Doctor Who and Torchwood album, and put them together alphabetically to create a massive and (if I might say so) impressive mix of Murray Gold and Ben Foster's music. This first part features the tracks that fall alphabetically between the titles '1969' and 'Fragrance,' featuring tracks from:
-Doctor Who: Original Television Soundtrack
-Doctor Who: Series 3
-Doctor Who: Series 4
-Doctor Who: Series 4 - The Specials
-Doctor Who: Series 5
-Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol
-Doctor Who: Series 6
-Torchwood: Original Television Soundtrack
-Torchwood: Children of Earth
To be honest, I'm not sure what you'll think of all this, as it is pretty lengthy. However, as far as I'm concerned, it's a pretty amazing way of experiencing seven years' worth of musical magic within a short span of time, and it's a lot of fun hearing all the styles and the sheer variety across all these albums. It was a bit tricky to get together, but I think it's paid off - the fact that I enjoy it myself hopefully means something. So, in case you'd like to share your agreement or prove me wrong, feel as free as ever to tell me your thoughts... and I might put up a version without the Torchwood soundtracks if I receive enough demand!
You are a genius. I really appreciate this video. Thank you for taking the time and effort!!

@Crimson11Delight It's no problem, although I think 'genius' might be pushing things too far! Or maybe that's just modesty. Or professionalism. But still...!
On an unrelated note, I really like your username! (I suppose including 'the smell of dust after rain' would have been a bit troublesome, though...)

Love it! The tracks transition very smoothly!

@AmazingBJW Thanks... it was kind of a tricky balance, trying to select a good standalone sample of any given track while conveying the general feel of the rest of it while trying to make it not sound bad when put together with dozens upon dozens of others... but I hope I managed it! I've got three more parts to put up... hopefully those will meet the same level of approval!

Oops... looks like there's a problem with the aspect ratio. I didn't intend for it to be boxed in like that! I also meant to upload it in HD, but my internet connection couldn't seem to handle the upload...
