Recapping game five of the 2009 World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Yankees in a photo slide show format.
The Phillies held off elimination behind the pitching of Cliff Lee and the bat of Chase Utley. Utley hit two home runs, including a first inning three-run home run to set the tone for the night. The Yankees had a rally late in the game but could not overcome the deficit as the Phillies won by a score of 8-6.
The World Series now returns to Yankee Stadium for Game Six Wednesday night.

PHILLIES are going straight to the WS & taking it, 100 + wins this season, I would keep Valdez @ second & let Castillo prove his worth, I don't care what he did when he played with the Marlins, & w/ that rotation don't be suprised to see another perfect game this season, heck I'll even go out on a limb & say 2. Halladay, Lee, Hamels, Oswalt, Blanton. <<<<------------ That's fucking SICK lol
