I take thee infidel...Paradise wedding turns sour in Maldives

A couple were left horrified after they found out that their wedding vow renewal was not as romantic as they thought it was.
Instead of blessing the couple, the celebrant cursed and called the couple names in his native language. The couple remained clueless until they posted the video onto youtube.

Im Maldivian and what was done in the video was horrible and unbelievable. But dont judge our entire population based on the acts of one or two brain-dead morons. Maldivians are open, friendly and hospitable. But of course, there are the occasional black sheep like in any other country.

And when this one time paradise, who's major income is tourism has some sort of devastating tragedy, who will they depend on for aid, support and money? I for one cannot wait for that day. And as i watch my local news informing me of how to make a donation to help this island Maldives, and it's people, only this video will come to mind...
