That's not the Blood Thirster, It's Asvar Kul, he was the first to reach the Demon level, you'll know this after playing the game.

Also, Asvar Kul is killed at that battle you see in the intro :) And you start the campaign from 6 months or so after that incident.

Warrior Priest of Sigmar for the win. Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to think his heroism and faith pay off at the end, I know that Bloodthirster would still kick his ass.
