I have to say one thing...in hockey the golies have a harder job soccer you get 6-10 shots a game but in hockey a team avrages 30 shots a game. Plus you have giant pads that u have to move around in.

lol i love reading comments saying its not hard to be a goalie or anything when every team would lose if they didn't have a goalie. you could still win if you didn't have a striker. A goalie is basically the general of the field, he sees all and has to talk to everyone on his team and let them know what to do or where to go. they have to be fast, flexible, and agile. they have to know when to come out and when to stay back. know when to throw or kick. and not be a pussy about getting hit.

@beaner4ever92 Defending is the hardest position I would say, its more tactical in defending you have to be clever, you cant lunge in for challenges and miss the ball, you have to mark someone constantly, you have to read the ball, and be on the same wave length as your over Defenders, defending is very hard

im in high school and i play for my local club team. goalkeepers dont have good days and bad days. i dont believe in that. you train, and thats how you prevent bad days. goalkeeping is one of the most physically demanding positions on the field. i just spent 3 days with a canadian national team keeper doing fitness. the field players even thought our training sessions were hard. its a tough job. for tough people. but i guess you wouldnt know that. would you?

are you under 10!?!?!?!? i bet you are... in highschool a fat goalkeeper gets nowhere even if hes ok in u10.Also i didnt say that attackers had the worst position or not i said they think they have the hardest SO YOU FUCK OFF...
