The sound doesn't capture how these things sounded like a freight train roaring through your office if you didn't have good sound absorbing material on the floors and ceiling. When I would run a listing of a long program I had to wear earplugs. On tile floors the ASR-33 I used would often slowly walk across the floor from the shake and vibration.

WOWEE..... My dad was a Missouri Pacific Telegraph operator. His office (until 1970) was FULL of these teletype machines. You had to shout to make yourself heard. I genuinely appreciate you posting this video, it was exactly what I wanted to see and hear. 'Preciate very much ! 73's !
