20 Cities in Israel dimmed their lights in honor of Earth hour for 2011. In the City of Eilat, on the Red Sea, the Hilton Queen of Sheba resort, inaugurated a new wind turbine, the Wind Tulip for Earth hour. So when the city lights were dimmed the Wind Tulip flew into commission. The Wind Tulip is a vertical axis wind turbine that is superior in performance than other turbines in its class and it is also beautiful.
@noamvasl should probably keep it on the ground since it might tear the roof off. lol

looks impressive. but it would have been nice to see all the lights out in Eilat, with the exception of the Hilton (being run on electricity provided by the Tulip).
