saturn, ps1 version making me sick.

@4RedDwarf3 ahem framerate isn't identical. either you are a fanboy or just blind.
-
Framerate in both these versions look identical to me, its like Saturn fanboys want this to be better than the PS1 version, but it just isnt, they are identical.
PC version is the best anyway, but either way they are ALL low resolution, 640x480 for PC, and i should imagine these are lower 320x or something, but i'm no expert, i just know i have played all versions and PC wins easily.
PS1 version on ePSXe is better looking than on the physical PS, because of resolution and filtering of course.

ALSO...
I'm disappointed to see that SAT & PS1 Road Rash kept the 3DO versions inability to have music and engines in-game.
I was always disappointed that (on 3DO) not only could you NOT have simultaneous Engines and Music, but also, if you chose the music option, you got some horrible crap, as opposed to the awesome music you have access to... in the f*cking menus of all places?? Coolest music ever in a video game with ZERO% realised potential for using it...
Oh, and, BEST Road Rash ever imo!

THE SATURN VERSION...
looks to have the edge in this comparison. Whilst the PS1 version looks 'cleaner' to me (a bit sharper and slightly better res) the framerate is the clincher for me. Road Rash (32-bit) was never much of a looker anyway and for me the gameplay is absolutely key at those speeds! Saturn > PS1 this time, me thinks.

One of the few great things to come out of the 90's.

I don't care which port i play. This game has soundgarden in it, that makes it awesome
I was never a huge fan of the Road Rash series though I do have some fond memories of playing the Megadrive versions. This was the first real time I'd even touched the 32-bit version & I'm thoroughly blown away. The sense of speed is great & you always feel like you're on the verge of losing control of your bike. Both games are pretty identical though the PS1 version does seem to suffer a few frame rate issues.
