Wouldn't It Be Good original blues version (1min in)

Just found these archive tapes of my great grandfather playing "Wouldn't It Be Good" in its original blues form. This song was of course later covered by Nik Kershaw in the 1980s to great acclaim.
So it's about time everybody paid their dues to my grandaddy playing his blues guitar in the 1930s, the Great Depression indeed. Explains his depression and hence in turn his blues. Natch

Wow - that guy had talent. But I'm guessing he's dead now. Sad. Nik Kershaw isn't half the musician this guy was - he does it in blues format, funk & pop. Problem is that all of them are terrible. But rest in peace buddy.
