Me doing the 5x5 single world record at Danish Open 2009. Too bad I got a big lockup at the end, it could've been sub 1:10 easily.
Thanks to Mads for the video!
The record is now 1:11 by me too, video is on my channel.

  • what did you use pre-cube era for the 5x5x5?

  • ... Imagine how fast he does 3 x 3..

  • no...

  • he looks like hes gonna rage break the cube at 1:05 lol lol!!!

  • @goshypimple13 yes... he's more machine now than man.... twisted and colorful.

  • @JostleCubed Not because it is hard to deal with, but because depending on what type of case you get it can add enough moves to the solution to eat up time. Same idea as when you get a pll skip on a 3x3x3 leading to abnormally short times. I always record my times with a "#" if I get some sort of skippage of a move, or a "*" if I have a parity case and figure those into my average and mean times. It can add up fast.

  • i can't even solve the 3x3 in 1:13 seconds...

  • @TheComputerNerd5 More like the cube jammed and he didn't want it to explode.

  • @Kittani1977 Because parity is so hard to deal with?

  • geklemt :D
