Margate Exodus on BBC South East Today

The BBC local news broadcast about "The Margate Exodus". The Artangel/Channel 4 film, "Exodus" featured the work of local artists and volunteers and the burning of Anthony Gormley "Waste Man" sculpture.

I thought I'd just mention how embarrassing this conspiracy is. Overcome whatever grudge you have and appreciate that this project meant alot to the local people who willingly gave their time to the project.

I've been told on good grounds that post-production is nearing completion and that Exodus will be aired in the Autumn as part of a number of C4 birthday programmes.

"Volunteers" = people who were gullible / bored enough to offer their services to this mutli-million pound art project for less than the minimum wage

Speaking as someone whose work has been blatantly plagiarised by Artangel, this is an interesting comment - if you have any more info on the alleged scam, please post in this comments window and drop me a line. You may know that Artangel awarded a major commission to composer Giya Kancheli, who just happened to be the father of their then fundraising officer Natalie Kancheli... "good practice" is not exactly Artangel's middle name

Where has the Margate 'Exodus' film that Artangel organised dissapeared to, I hope Artangel (and their cronies) will not just walk away with the money, knowing people have no real way of complaining. I have tried to get information but have been ignored, I hope its not another Art Funding scam.
