my husband Caleb underwent an autologous stem cell transplant Mar 7, 2008 for a relapse of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It wasn't an easy process, but he handled it so well!!

  • I am now facing this treatment for my Diffused Large B-Cell Lymphoma, which has not transformed into a follicular lymphoma. I have completed 7 cycles of EPOCH-R chemo, which has reduced the cancer, but not beaten it into remission. My next course of treatment is stem cell transplant, from my sister. It's scary, but I am up for the challenge.

  • I hope you are doing fine and are in full remission, I had my stem cell transplant several years ago for a Non-Hodgkin-Lymphoma, I am in full remission, and have survived it just fine as well... all the best wishes to you

  • did u do ur trasplant in calgryy !!!!!!!!!!

  • Good luck Caleb! Your photos take me back to my stem cell transplant. Tough times.

In This Time's a Charm; Lessons of a Four-Time Cancer Survivor, Donald A. Wilhelm, tells his real-life story from a patient's perspective about surviving cancer (Hodkin's) four times. His intent is to give his readers a true depiction of what cancer, and its treatment, is really like. "I've had pretty much had every treatment and every drug out there at one point or another," says Wilhelm.
