Indeed. Howard was very lucky that all the news coverage of the september 11 2001 attacks distracted from the TAMPA and supposed children overboard, if it hadnt, he may well have actualy gotten caught in the lie before the election, and may even have lost it (or at least had a much smaller lead of seats).

LOL, more like "Liberal Party" media. This is typical of commercial stations, pushing racism and hate of the poor to benefit the conservative rightwing end of politics who they naturally favor being capitalist parasites on society. The corporate media helped Howard win more then one election be deliberately lying and demonising to whip up racism and hate in a co-operative effort with the amoral Liberal Party. Welfare bashes should fuck off; The biggest and best bludgers are the rich and bosses.
