  • Why didn't the Queen introduce her sister, Pincess Margareth Rose, to the guest?!

  • @anaclet . Lech Walesa was introduced to HRH The Princess Margaret earlier in the day.

  • The Queen is such a kind, warm hostess - and such a lovely sense of humour - so natural. When Prince Michael talks to Lech in Russian, she waves her hand, laughs and says, 'Well that's just showing off!'

I've always thought what a wonderful Tsar of Russia, Michael would make. Infinitely more attractive than Maria Vladimirovna, and he speaks the language like a native.

  • Princess Pushy is stunning !

  • @XenaAmazon As has been said you're not allowed to turn your back to the Queen, but this really on stands at State occasions now.

  • @zimnaya not to mention Princess Michael would be a wonderful Tsarina.

  • @zimnaya Why the hell would he talk to Lech "in Russian"?

  • @XenaAmazon You never turn your back on the Queen.

  • @XenaAmazon I think because you aren't supposed to turn your back to The Monarch.

  • Why are some people walking backwards?

  • @LemonCake07 It's called "A Year in the Life of Queen Elizabeth II" To commemorate her 40 years on the throne they followed her for a year and during the doc there are many insightful comments from the Queen. Also on YouTube - the Queen taking a walk with her grandchildren; reflecting on her life as Monarch, her sitting for a portrait, winning a bet at the races. I have the doc on tape.

  • She completely skipped Margaret!

  • Even though I don't consider myself a monarchist/royalist I still find these insights into royal life,(private & public),fascinating. It is a rich history after all and impossible to air-brush out of our lives. The Queen is clearly a very popular woman & irrespective of where monarchy goes after her death,(& it clearly will never be the same),she has performed her duties impeccably.I suspect she will forever be our most popular monarch.

  • Love two things here. (1) The way the Queen Mother says "off", and (2), the epic table!
