PERSONAL OPINION
I think that this song is going to be a quite meaningful song with loads of emotions. It was sort of a disappointment for me becuase I thought it was going to be an upbeat version with verses from Chad & Taylor. But as I listen to it more I like it.

I cried so hard throughout this entire movie. High School Musical came out when I was a Sophomore in high school, so I pretty much followed it going through high school. High School Musical came out my Junior Year and High School Musical came out a few months after I graduated, when I was still missing high school and all my friends. This was and will always be such an emotional movie for me. HSM <3

@StarlingKnight HSM1 tells their 3rd year. HSM2 tells the summer between their 3rd and 4th year and HSM3 tells their fourth and final year. We never see their first and second years.

HSM1 tells about their 1st year, HSM2 tells about the summer between 1st and 2nd year and HSM3 tells about their final year and ends in graduation.

There's missing 2 whole schoolsyears from the picture... The characters just magically change from 17yo to 19yo between HSM 2 and 3?

Of course, coming from country that has different schooling system than Britain, USA and other english-speaking countries leads you to information errors like this.

Finnish equalent to "high school" (lukio) is 3-4 years long depending how many courses you take per year. But the studies in the last year are higher-level stuff than people get in american highschool.
