if your sim is a pregnant ghost will the baby be a ghost too?

Generally the babies will take on the skin type of the female that gives birth to it but not always. Sometimes you get a split to and have to find another ghost to have a baby with using the off spring. I've done similar with the reaper that is a male and have had females give birth to normal skinned and black reaper babies, best bet is to try for twins or better you will get the desired type with one of the babies.
