This is my favorite place to meditate. It's in the Poudre Canyon, about 30-minutes from Fort Collins and well-worth the drive. If you sit by the rapids for a few hours without any distractions, you begin to separate the different sounds that collectively make up what we call "White Noise". The interesting thing is that the more you analyze these sounds, the more you notice them EVERYWHERE. In fact, on the same day that I shot this video, I meditated for approximately 2-hours... At approximately an hour and a half into my meditation, I began to hear what I can only describe as a series of high-pitched chirps that seem to echo through the rapids. It's almost as though the water is a conductor of cosmic oscillations, because it's spacial dimensions (meaning its fluidity) somehow represent the universal dimensions of the universe itself? Perhaps the flowing liquid serves as a waveguide for the Earth's Ambient Electromagnetic Field (Schumann Resonance).
When I say that I notice the sounds everywhere, I mean that after this meditation took place, I began to notice that the series of high-pitched chirps are not just audible near flowing water, but in many places. A really easy way to hear them is to drive up a canyon along flowing water and turn the radio to a station that is static... You'll notice that the supposedly random "white noise" isn't so random :) Just food for thought. As always, please share your thoughts with me!
If you think about it, water truly is the perfect technology... It always finds the most efficient path downhill and flows without resistance. It's also unbreakable:) I think as a species, we could learn a tremendous amount from simply listening to the sounds of flowing water. Have you ever wondered which musical tones are produced within the "trickle" of water? Questions/Comments? Send me a message. YoungTesla

  • That looks like the perfect place for R&R, I wish I could go there, unfortunately there are no such places where I am. Also, I read the description, and I agree, Water and the sound it makes is amazing. And I alwas had a feeling that Static/white noise wasn't so random, as when Iistened to my old meditation track, I could eventually remember where these chirps were in the track.

Usually I'm not so fond water(Sinks, swimming pools, ect), but Natural flowing ones such as this are beautiful. :3
