Wildfires South Orange County, Santiago Fires, Forest Fire

Wildfires in South Orange County. WTV views the forest fire by Foothill Ranch from the Portola Hills area. The danger from the smoke and heat of the wild fire kept spectators at a distance. Police and Fire authorites blocked the roads that went to high risk areas.

Although the wildfires reached up to civilization, only a few orange county homes were lost to the blaze. The fire turned towards Santiago Canyon, Mojeska Canyon, Trabuco Canyon and the Cleveland National Forest. The fires in San Diego County have taken a few human lives and many homes. This Southern California fire outbreak has caused over a billion dollars in property damages. This is a tragic event in California history.
