As the world turns (aired 8/1/07): Noah walks into WOAK and spots Luke asking about the final cut. Luke and Noah talk about it for a bit, but Noah scents there is something up with Luke and how he is avoiding him all day. Noah thinks that Luke is mad at him, so he asks him again if he did something wrong and if he doesn't like him. Luke says he does like Noah, but it more than just a friend...

Hollyoaks (aired 1/26/07): Craig sees his girlfriend Sarah making out with her ex-boyfriend Rhys. Craig flips out and goes after Rhys. John Paul intervenes to stop Craig from hurting Rhys telling Craig that he is so much better than Sarah. Craig wants to know what he is talking about, but John Paul runs off. John Paul is outside crying; Craig follows in asking him what he meant about what he says. John Paul breaks down and tells him he is jealous of him with Sarah and that he is in love with him.

It was really lame, but it's rather realistic. I mean, after telling your best friend (who's a guy) that you are in love with him, I'm sure he feels ashamed. He was probably scared to stay to see what he would of said.

Love Nuke, but 'I like you... like that' compared to '*sobbing* "thinking about you ALL THE TIME", "heart bursting" AND "I'm IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!!" *runs off*'. Hollyoaks takes the cake.

This one totally goes to Hollyoaks.....the "i like you" thingy from ATWT is cute....but the lines from JP are tearin' my heart apart ;) i wish some had confessed his love for me ever like that ;)

in general i think the European Show have more emotion and sexappeal. i mean - jp and craig kind "start" their relation/affair/whatever by fuc*ing....luke and noah had to wait about 3453243 Years ;)

The contrast during the transition between the two scenes is hilarious. There's the very quiet, calm (if slightly awkward) Nuke scene, then...

JP&C win this one! Craig doesn't realize it yet, but he loves JP too, and SO loves him as his best friend at this point that he doesn't push JP away, but lets him say what he knows he needs to say. Even Craig knows it's not about Sarah at this poit. I love when Craig, feeling JP's pain, actually encourages JP to express what he's feeling by saying, "What..." He wants JP to be able to say it. I love JP&C SO much!
