Here's a speech that Box.net's CEO gave last week to a group of VCs and influentials in Silicon Valley. I found it interesting because of how he positions Microsoft's Sharepoint.
Great stuff, this is truly a game changer, especially for IT, if they get it quick enough. If they don't they'll spend a lot of wasted time in catch-up mode.
This guy walks around way too much while he talks. :-) Aside from that the message was interesting. I don't see the public letting go of their ability to use stolen software unless the prices are greatly reduced to use online software. This could just be the death knell for MS Office. Open Office will just become the norm.
Very interesting. But for the love of god, somebody switch him to decaf!
