That is your opinion and that fine but I disagree. John Mayer is THE GREATEST of his generation hands down. He has 2 of my nephews learning BOLD AS LOVE on guitar. John is keeping the "greats" alive and passing the LOVE for the "greats" to younger generations. In my opinion that's GREAT!!! JOHN MAYER ROCKS HARD and is "the" ROCK STAR that is as GOOD as the GREATS!!!
