Does this work with ipod touch 4g on 4.2.1??? cuz when i connect it to ubuntu 10.10 the only option i get is to transfer my pictures. any suggestions?

@TheJose329 o into software center and do thorough searches for packages on apple products (oole advanced search might help)

The rythmbox won't work if you have itunes gift cards and want to use them will they??

My iPod's name is Titanic too. But when I sync my music, I have to sync Titanic.

I just bought a niw ipod touch 32 gig, and ubuntu recognises the ipod, but when I open rhytymbox it says that :Rhythmbox has detected a device that is probably an uninitialized or corrupted iPod. And I can't put music on it at all. I tried initializing it but to no avail.

You can also open Terminal and use the command (sudo apt-get install rhythmbox) without taking hours to update your Ubuntu Distro

You say that the Nano works with Rhythmbox; While it is true you can copy music over, once copied the music doesn't show up on the Nano.

@JohnnyVisions I hope you do. I just got an Ipod Touch, 5th generation. It shows up on Rhythmbox and desktop, but when I drag music over from the app to Ipod...I get an error message. I've been working on this since Wednesday, every day after work, well into the wee hours of the morning. Can't fix it!

Is it also possible to backup and sync apps? (I have Ipod Touch 2g)

if it is possible, I would definitely get rid of the windows from duel boot!!!!
