J.S. Bach's Passacaglia, from the Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor, BWV 582, originally for organ, arranged for piano by Georgy Catoire. I make a lot of mistakes and have company in the room, but hopefully you'll at least get a sense for the arrangement. I also have a video up of a different arrangement by Josef Weiss. The sheet music to the Catoire arrangement is available here: http://imslp.org/wiki/Special:IMSLPDisclaimerAccept/09085

  • Very beautilful...

  • Wow! As you say, it's not perfect, but still, bravo! How about the fugue? :)

  • I love this piece and I can listen to it forever. The recording I have is by Hamish Milne

Bach is the really the immortal God of Harmony (as described by Beethoven)
