Gauntlet Dark Legacy - Spider Queen w/ legend item

Gauntlet Dark Legacy; Midway; PS2; Difficulty: Hard

This video will show my gameplay as the Green Archer fighting the Spider Queen using the Toxic Bellows.

No damage was taken during the battle. (I felt very lucky too, considering that dodging the Spider Queen's attacks were not easy, even with the speed and the legend item. But I am happy with the results.)

Invulnerability and three way shots do last longer in the arcade version than they do in the console versions. I took her on with the green Archer in the arcade version with 2 three way shots, 2 gold invulnerability and 2 rapid fire. It took very little time to finish her off.

Playing this same boss in Legends (arcade) with the green Valkrie took much longer - I had to keep running around the outside edge of her web.

@JeffreyMorse Not surprisingly on the first comment, since powerups don't last as long when you fight bosses, but the cheaper price of powerups somewhat make up for it. Powerups in the arcade versions were expensive as heck.

And the Spider Queen is indeed challenging in the arcade version of Legends. But she can still be beaten with enough practice.

Which of the bosses do you think was harder to kill?

Out of all of the bosses:

The Yeti took the longest.

The Wraith is the most unpredictable.

The Spider Queen is the most irritating.

Skorne in the Underworld is the hardest.

I don't even remember what weapon this one was, what did it do?Damage?

It damages and shrinks the Spider Queen. It may help in trying to dodge her attacks (very helpful with speed at your side.)

Words can't describe my utter and complete hatred for this boss. At least the Wraith and Second Skorne don't chase me around the fucking room. XD

I loved the part where you did this boss until you were level 99 and then became invincible kind of.

this is the best way to get exp: i went from lvl 77 to 99 in under one hour by just fighting this boss
