Rush is the smartest man alive, and I truly believe that. My wife Chandrakanta and I came to this country to escape the communism of India. We have the Rush babies now. I make her record onto the tape his show every day it is new and me and my family listen to Rush on our top of the line Sony cassette player made only here in America by great Americans who have great things. Rush shows me and Chandrakanta how to become rich. We are renting a room in a basement now, but soon I will be rich.
This from a man who claims that the Alaskan coastline that was flooded with oil after the Exxon Valdez ran aground in Prince William Sound is now "pristine" no oil left at all. This of course is a blatant lie, like that countless ones that come out of his mouth every day. (My favorite was..."After all, crude oil is a natural as seawater") How do people listen to this drivel ?
@jared10ant When I insulted you, which, I admited that it WAS an insult, I was not trying to debate at all, merely trying to get you to leave me alone after having a case of mistaken identity. While you did not outright insult me, you implied a lack of intellegence on my part.
@SpadaccinoLuciano I see what happened with the comments; it is indeed originally my mistake.
Nevertheless......"you're obviously not very bright" is an insult, which is still an ad hominem attack. I'm not sure how you think "it's not quite the same thing". It's pretty cut and dry; ad hominem is putting forth any type of personal attack against the opposing person and not the subject matter itself. Also, I never insulted you; but this is less important b/c I mixed up the original comments.
@jared10ant I went through all the comments, searching for said comment, and couldn't find it. You must be confused. Also, I never called you a name. What you're referring to is an "insult". It is not quite the same thing. Here is my logic: I made a comment about trees. You insulted "my" views on the climate by comparing me to a baseball player striking out. Ergo, I corrected you, thinking you must be mistaken. You have since proceeded to insult me. Ad hominem, eh?
@SpadaccinoLuciano LOL. Sorry to disappoint you, but I replied to the correct comment. I can't help that Youtube didn't thread the messages correctly.
It's sad you have to resort to name calling to attempt to gain the higher ground. In logic, that's what's called a ad hominem fallacy; which is, quite obviously, an error in reasoning. Most importantly it doesn't help the validity or soundness of any of the silly claims you have made thus far.
@SpadaccinoLuciano In the comment I was referencing, here is what you said: "CO 2 will not make a large difference in Temperatures [sic]". You also incorrectly used the word 'theory' in the very next sentence.

@jared10ant And you chose to reply to a comment about trees. You're obviously not very bright.

@jared10ant I said absolutly nothing about the climate in that comment. I talked about trees.
