Engine was broken before we started, so i don´t want any: "you are killing a good engine"!! Engine had been driven without water and it had broken rings and a cracked cylinder head. We got it for parts, but figured, why not have some fun with it!
Facts about the beast: 1983 Mercedes 240 diesel, automatic transmission, 78hp, 606000km, broken engine.

  • I love your Interior so much!!!! how come you need to press the pedel to the floor when starting it? mine just turns on with the turn of the key no throttle needed

  • @aaronpourazar Had to press the pedal because engine had very little compression after previous owner drove it for hours without coolant....

  • @kiarra00 Question are you still driving this car around after 4 years of this video. Is it possible you can sell me some parts from Europe like a Km/h speedometer

  • @aaronpourazar I drive and have many w123 cars, but this one was used as part scar and scrapped after this video. I don't send parts. Sorry about that...

  • Forgot your keys there, have ya?

  • @zippeduniform3 the previous owner broke the key in the ignition.

  • started damn good for bad rings

  • @tommysbrowncaddy Yes it is a pile, I would much rather be driving my pink cadillac with the 5,7 diesel, it's SOOO reliable. it's only been rebuilt 20 times after 20K miles, that's great!

  • @KapteinOpel

send me the vid plz those 240 are monsters they never die phh

  • A dude in Norway tuned one of these with a turbo from a Scania 9 liter... Tried it on the dragstrip and it smoked a BMW M3' and a Mustang Boss...

  • @mddaredevil you mean service or over haul? a Mercedes diesel engine can go 1 000 000 kms without overhaul easy, only if you can maintain it.. my 240D -83 has only done 336000 kms and is fine as hell!
