It appears to be a nice little knife. I think it is a way to attract customers who liked the ladybug, but didn't like the feminin name and therefore didn't buy it. It's a macho - ladybug.

The price on this thing is ridiculous. Almost $80 for this thing? I'll pass. I do like it though.

why should i get the manbug for?
the blade length is the same as the ladybug, and it's just thicker and heavier...
since i got a ladybug for my key chain i stopped EDCing other knives - i LOVE it!
still, the man bug seems useless to me.

@yonac491 Because it's a fun and cool knife? I feel the Manbug is an attempt to make the Ladybug more of an EDC folder, rather than a (good) keychain knife. With more restrictive laws all over the world concerning the carry and use of locking folding knives, it makes sense for Spyderco to try their hand at a model like this and see how it fares in the market. PS it's not a review, more of a product presentation. The Manbug is not out yet.

@Spydercollector, still not convinced. :-)
im trying to lose as much weight and volume on my keychain, so the manbug offers me nothing superior to my wonderful ladybug.
p.s: can you make an estimation regarding to how much the SS balance will cost?
