Ice Flyer first test runs at Calverton Airport, Long Island, NY. Had to tweak the sheeting system and learn how to adjust, few other technical difficulties. Boat was very easy to handle and very fast even in moderate winds. Had no trouble passing blokart. Boat is heavier with an 8 ft rear plank which gives the boat a lot more stability in high winds and gusts. Instead of constantly heeling and having to sheet out spilling wind, the ice flyer maintains and builds speed much more quickly. Can't wait to get it out on the ice and compare performance to the DN's.

  • @halxena11 Sail works well. Still testing at fairly low speed, but can feel the power and will be putting the pedal to the metal when I feel more confident in the steering and sheeting which had been hanging up. Made modifications and working much better. Be well, Mike :)

  • Mike, good to see my old sail doing some work.....
