Further filter and pattern manipulation in real time. Just some good ballsy sounds but nowhere near usable yet. Also my cat in the background making the rounds.

  • Do you still own this and do you get much use out of it?

  • @Subtronik Honestly I don't and I really really wish i did. Its incredible sounding I think its one of the best sounding things I've heard in person. Its bold enough that I have hard time fitting it in with my other stuff. It also isn't easy to use, not intuitive for me, some say it is once you get the hang of it tho. I swore I'd never sell it but I'm really thinking of getting some other outboard. If I can swing it I'll keep it. but other wise its next up to sell.

  • How is the learning curve to program this? Sounds like a badd ass synth. I am used to the elektron gear and it's very intuitive...I get a bit skeptical when looking into getting new gear because of the learning curve...nice vid, thanks

  • @Lemure333 Elektron is easier to figure out, it has a better user base with better tutorials and a better manual. I wish the manual on the spec were like the manual for the elektron. Anyway they play very nicely together. I had both MnM and MD until recently. I started selling off stuff to fund some outboard and I dearly want a Nagra IV-S so if someone has one of those to sell let me know! :)

  • @Lemure333 and yes it isn't the easiest thing to learn, but I do believe it is worth it, I just haven't put in the time like I should have. Too much other good stuff to play with.

  • Man, wish they had included small pads like on the sp1200.

  • @lvngdead yeah but the sound of the sp1200 is pretty awesome. I'd take fat ugly pads on something that sounded like that even if smaller is more preferable.

  • I really need a good rhythm, drum or beat machine, the Spectralis is very impressive but the people opinions are so divided making me doubt, the Spectralis have more features that a Jomox, Elektron or even the analog Vermona but im not sure, the drums are pre recorded beats so is not pure analog kick, idk.

  • @Makemetalmusic spectralis is a waste of money... its a pain in the ass to figure out how to use, and wayyyy to expensive. For the same price you could buy a Machinedrum and a SH-101

  • @syzygywell

    lol, i feel you.
