john mayer isn't a racist, he's just an incredibly naive, superficial, self-absorbed douchebag.

Apparently the only word in English you are not allowed to say is "nigger". You can say wetback, cracker, chink, kike, cunt, faggot, but for some reason theres an uproar when someone drops the "N" bomb and you have to get Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton out so you can apologize.

Is John Mayer a racist? NO! He just doesnt prefer black women. There are tons of girls out there that dont prefer white guys or asian guys but that doesnt mean they are racist. That just means they are not their type.

The playboy interviewer ask Mayer "if black women throw themselves at {him}".

His answer is a longwinded "no black women do not throw themselves at me especially not Kerry Washington". LOL

Grew up in an upper middle class black neighborhood where listening to John Mayer's music was fine (if you were a girl);but being a huge fan of the man himself, was never really cool. If you were going to throw yourself at anyone it was Usher or Morris Chestnut:)

See the thing is, all of these words you listed are just simply offensive, inappropriate, and should not be used at all. Point blank. And the fact that you tried to rationalize his reasoning for using such a word is disgusting to me.

I think a lot of things were going on with him a this moment. Slightly pretentious?...maybe....I hear his pain; his deep upset and pain, A lot of what he said is true. He was trying to beat the media at their own game and, to me, it just go out of control. Now he's mute, for realz.

@dmbdispatch14 yeah dude I agree with you. Seems that @yosraz1 is sitting here calling things insincere when it's pretty clear that John is actually apologizing. I asked what John could have said on stage that would have convinced @yosraz1 that he was sincere.
