When something is arranged by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, one should not be disturbed by it, even if it appears to be a reverse according to one's calculations. For example, sometimes we see that a powerful preacher is killed, or sometimes he is put into difficulty, just as Haridasa Thakura was. He was a great devotee who came into this material world to execute the will of the Lord by preaching the Lord's glories. But Haridasa was punished at the hands of the Kazi by being beaten in twenty-two marketplaces. Similarly, Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, and Prahlada Maharaja was put through so many tribulations. The Pandavas, who were direct friends of Krsna, lost their kingdom, their wife was insulted, and they had to undergo many severe tribulations. Seeing all these reverses affect devotees, one should not be disturbed; one should simply understand that in these matters there must be some plan of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The Bhagavatam's conclusion is that a devotee is never disturbed by such reverses. He accepts even reverse conditions as the grace of the Lord. One who continues to serve the Lord even in reverse conditions is assured that he will go back to Godhead, back to the Vaikuntha planets. Lord Brahma assured the demigods that there was no use in talking about how the disturbing situation of darkness was taking place, since the actual fact was that it was ordered by the Supreme Lord. Brahma knew this because he was a great devotee; it was possible for him to understand the plan of the Lord.

He did disappear in Indaia; at the holy place of vrindavan and was placed in the Samadhi at the Krishna- Balarama Temple, near the gate, as the Divine grace wished

I personally think tears have nothing to do in a funeral, death should be celebrated as it was in old times, this "new" tradition of crying is wrong, its a new start not an "end", I see it as selfish and ignorant to cry for "lost", they are not lost they simply move on, don't take it personal, death should not be feared it is inevitable and as natural as it gets..

wow i have no idea who he is or was looks like he's truly loved wow i wish i could pass away like this he was comforted until the end i hear that if you weren't traumatized at death and people cared for your soul you will have no problem with your soul coming out it will come out easily but if you were violentlly killed or what not your body stays in limbo and spirit wont ascend to the afterlife but will be lost you all truly let him rest his soul i could only pray to pass like this.

Maybe that was the last and greatest contribution of Srila Prabhupada.

After giving us all the knowledge and mercy,he took on his shoulders all the persecution from the evil that has penetrated his movement, so that they will collapse under the weight of this terrible offence,leaving his true followers free to preach and give soul to the real ISKCON.

Let us all help, so that this glorious moment will come sooner than later...

Today is 23 years since Srila Prabhupada died. During this time the work he had started did not disappear nor was it forgotten. On the contrary, since the time he passed away the Vedic Knowledge becomes more and more known and accessible all over the world. More and more people each day obtain the possibility to start their way to enlightenment. Thank You Srila Prabhupada for all you have done. Thank You God we are living in these blessed times!
