Wal-mart plans assualt on the American economy 1/29/08

WalMart's plan will only further hurt small American businesses, and send more money out of the country. This is unacceptable!

Free trade deals have made it this way. NAFTA is not truly free-trade.. it is managed trade, and it has let to the migration of our industrial base to cheaper markets.

If you opened your eyes, you would see that the "good" that Wal-Mart does for local communities and it's Associates....far out-weighs the "Bad". My Dad always told me to "use my ears, before I use my mouth", maybe you all should try it sometime? Or, Maybe you all just need to get a life!

Thanks to the moron Federal Reserve increasing inflation and thus screwing over middle and poor America, a 10% cut in prices by Walmart might just keep the value of the dollar there even. If you want to keep more of your money and have that money actually be worth something, vote Ron Paul!

wow thanks Walmart for using slave labor in other countries so you can "roll back" prices in your stores so I can watch the Superbowl...what about the money you do not spend on employees here in the states...how about health care for your made to be part time employees...boycott Walmart

I worked there, you need to know that walmart pays less fot the stuff they put on the shelf. They will bring up something that cost $5 to $6 then later turn around & bring it back to $5 & say a rollback. Rollback to the price before we raised it!

It's all greed in the end. This action will hurt the malls no more malls now!

its not that simple. the customer is also engaging in buisness as much as the seller. the customer is operating under similar principles as the seller. He wants to get as much stuff as possible for as little money as possible. the seller wants more and more money, the buyer wants more and more stuff for his money. you might have ethics but those ethics are not universal to all buyers. so ethics is only going to count in buisness if it benefits buyer and seller mutually, which isnt likely

WEll it si very hard to get work, so ppl will work whereever to put food on the table. I hate their treatment of workers. All their CEo says is 'the customer must me #1" all while they screw their own employees. Sadly some of us havent much choice. Sometime u have to prostitute yourself.
