Feminists just can't accept the obvious truth...they assume that because a certain field is dominated by men that it must be a result of gender discrimination, when really it's just because the men are better workers. They are willing to take more risks and work longer hours; the "gender pay gap" proves that men do more overtime, work more dangerous jobs and so get paid more than women. If women were really "oppressed" surely men would be forcing THEM down coal mines?

What you call "affirmative action" I call blatant discrimination. To put it very simply: if there are 100 positions available for a mechanical engineering course, for example, and say 50 applicants are female and 200 are male, your "affirmative action" means that 100% of the female applicants will get a position in order to fill the equal quota -regardless of how good their credentials are- while 150 of the male applicants will lose out. Hardly seems fair.
