Clouds in clear sky are absolutely enjoyable to draw. Drawing sunlight on face and body is a technique that, once mastered, can add wonderful effect to your artwork. This digital illustration took me 5 hours in Corel Painter.

Happy New Year everyone!

  • Do you mind if I ask the settings of your basic round brush and blender hard to find any good tutorials for corel painter :/. Wonderful artwork btw really like the way that you used the lighting :D

  • @jusjerry4 Thank you. They are just normal Tinting tools... I just customized Resat and Bleed values a little to match my habits.

  • how can you trace your lineart so smooth and accurately? I always end up doing multiple strokes that makes it ugly.

  • awesome !!!!!!! *____*

  • man im glad i subscribed, your art always amazes, aswell as inspire me. i only wish you had a deviant art so i could keep up with you more

  • just amazing ^^ I begin me on speedpainting but I'm not as good as you :P Keep up this good work :D

  • @bigbentree Okay thanks, I really like the painted effect that they give just online theres next to no tutorials on corel painter explaining which type of brushes create that type of effect if you briefly just comment on the effect that the "edges" of a brush create heard that its all about learning how to use them to make nice paintings. Thank you for your time :)

  • Sooo awesome :3

I want to buy your course now D:

I love every little piece you make .__.

  • Happy New Year to you too C:

  • @free4fire With a tablet without LED, don't hesitate to do "fast" movement with your hand when you do the lines -like if you were drawing with your pencil- and undo if the line isn't good. Don't try to do all the lines of hair (for example) in one movement.

I mean, the goal is to have smooth lines. Draw lines segment by segment, and undo if you failed or if you don't have a correct curved/smooth line x) (it's the way I work with my Intuos 4 and "it work" ;) )

    (Take a look at 01:30 )
