The toughest section of my first off-road experience. It's in my new Toyota FJ cruiser Trail Teams Special Edition. We're on a stretch of the White Mountain trail off of 3N16, north of Big Bear Lake, CA.

  • The Trails Team edition just has TRD wheels, matching roof and BF Goodrich All Terrain tires...If you want a good FJ for a few grand less, look into the All Terrain package, comes with BF Goodrich Rugged Trail Tires, Bilstein tuned shocks, Rear Diff. and A-Trac, but you dont get a roof rack which sucks..nice vid

  • The TT comes with the all the stuff from the All Terrain package (Bilstein shocks, rear locking diff, a-trac). The roof rack is an option. It also comes with rock sliders, special shift knobs, special mats and badges and I think that's it. They're fetching pretty good money right now as the word on the street is that 2010 (in show rooms now) may be the last year.

  • Sweet. It's nice to see and hear it from the outside. Haha. I'm always driving so I never get to see mine from this view. I got my tt edition right when they became available. I plan on doing the Icon 3" coil-over kit. Are you on the forums?

  • The ICON is righteous! I have the fronts and hope to swap out my SAW Raceway rears soon. I'm Jaytil on both the Blue forum and the socal forum.

  • Like most things, it depends. I bought it for the color and I also like the wheels. If you plan on upgrading it (suspension, exhaust, skid plates, etc.) then the SE may be a waste as there are lots of better components out there and you may want them instead. You can run it stock and it's still a VERY capable off road vehicle. Depending on your color preference, I would price out a non SE and the SE with things like ATrac, rear locker, etc. that you can't add easily later. Good luck.

  • Nice job. Like the comment about the dog.

  • Is that a puggle?

  • why talk about it he already bought it.

  • does the trail teams edition have a higher lift compared to the non-trail teams FJ's? I'm considering some type of lift/level kit

  • That was a fun day!
