On Bloomberg TV this weekend, Congressman Boehner renewed his call for health care reform that fixes what is broken and preserves what works. Boehner said, [A]t a time when have seen spending out of control here in Washington, I think it is better to take the current system, to make the current system work better for those who cannot get insurance, those who have pre-existing conditions, and those who are stuck whether they don't qualify for the government programs or they do not have the money. There is a way to make the current system work better that will cost far less and will preserve what is good about the best health care system in the world.
Boehner also discussed the need for a tougher approach to Iran and Republicans commitment to better solutions for families and small businesses that create new jobs without raising taxes.
