Its not about how complex the bass structure is, as long as it gets the ''bass'' of the song at a really good match to all other instruments in the band then there's no worries, even if you play one consecutive note after the other, as long as it fits in the songs, its the perfect bass riff for them.... Plus if you can play bass that well, why are you not on a stage in front of thousands of fans selling thousands of records with your ''asshairs''?

Also you don't have to sing about Satan burning churches to be Heavy. Exodus Heavy as Fuck but most of there song are political and Slayer. Also Black metal came from Nwobhm and Thrash you Noob.

Satyricon collaborated with Daron from SOAD and Joey Jordison from Slipknot so they are sellouts as fuck. Exodus and thrash in general is emo compared to black metal. Any metal that isnt about satan or evil themes is not proper metal. You need proper church burning, corpse paint and evilness in music to be metal. Thrash is a bunch of bullshit.

Gorgoroth is proper evil music that scares parents. Fuck all music except black metal. Slayer are fucking gay, they played punk rock covers, gay as fuck.
