  • the eights theres because its like bad luck for robert smith, he didnt do anything wrong its just that the pin action and power is so strong, sometimes that happens to pros but yeah no offence to robert smith though

  • That was good... Randy: "I don't think I've ever seen an 8-pin leave like that..."

  • @strongsock if you're referring to telecasts, i think it's because the camera angle is usually from the right of every bowler, so when they bowl lefty their arms swing is blocked by their body and it just looks weird. in some rare cases they'll show a camera angle from the left and it looks a lot more natural. same concept as filming a righty from the left, which would also look awkward.

  • the balls sound like basketballs when they hit the lane

  • im not sure if i misunderstood pedersen but i think he said something about robert smith using a plastic ball? or hes using reactive resin...

  • is it just me, or do left-handed bowlers looked awkward when they bowl? Smooth, but still awkward

  • Eh, not so much a weak shot... his ball just looked like it stopped hooking about 5 feet in front of the headpin.

The shorter oil patterns looked like they got really scorched in the outdoor setting, creating some really nasty roll out shots for everybody.

  • it was a rather odd way to leave it though
