There are many concepts of intelligence and I believe that an intelligence as a theorem proof is meaningless for control. The main issue in control is exactly behaviour. Pilot can fly the plane because he has a skill, not more. He even don't know how he does it (well, he can shape the membership functions but very, very approximately). It's only a private opinion of course:)
