@tinafanforlife73 you have reached the new level of being gullible. you believe NASA lies in this video. do you realize anybody can make a video disclaiming something just to make publicity. but people like you fall for it. there will always be a person or two to fall for the stupidest possible video. here's a tip, there's a tunnel under your basement, see the light, go through it, and learn stuff

Each rover has a stereo pair of PanCams mounted 280 mm apart. To make their panoramas, many pictures are joined together to form a mosaic. Each has a filter wheel in front with 8 positions for filtering various wavebands covering the sensitivity range of the CCD. These allow multi-spectral imaging for quantitative geological and atmospheric analysis. 30 photos between 2 cameras of this series.

Looks like the rover has photographed an outcropping of Tertiary lignite. Martians are notoriously protective of their lignite so it seems natural that it would be sequestered.
