Shingles Vaccine Clinical Study in Pittsburgh

Shingles or Herpes Zoster is a painful virus caused by the same virus as chickenpox. Although it can affect any age group, it is more common in adults age 60 and older.

Primary Physicians Research throughout the Pittsburgh are conducting a research study to evaluate the investigational use of an approved shingles vaccine in a younger age group.
You may qualify if you are between the ages of 50 and 59 and have not had shingles.

Qualified participants will receive study related exams, lab work and study vaccine at no charge.
