Plot Summary: A film noir set in 1946, Shirley Laurent, Raymond Durand, and Mae Clark have been condemned to a life sentence in a French prison for murder and theft. After serving one week, greedy and rich Mae Clark bailed herself out, leaving her co-conspirators. However, Shirley and Raymond are still determined to sell the tangerine diamond and make millions, and upon hearing that the diamond is in England, they escape from jail in pursuit of it. But Charles is on the case again. Meanwhile, Mae has heard that Shirley and Raymond are close to the diamond and may make their million, so she wants in. She helps them follow the diamond back to Paris, then helps them smuggle it to Spain. However, Charles is keeping up with them and the tension of the chase builds until the fate of the diamond is discovered in Costa del Sol, Spain.
