And the Operating System I used (and am still using) is Ubuntu Eee, a version of Ubuntu specifically customised with the EeePC in mind (specific drivers, smaller fonts etc), with all features ready to go out of the box:

Used to be on ubuntu. Moved onto crunchbang for lightness.

It's kind of ironic that default xandros os boots up somewhat faster than other (arguably better oses)

I ended up making the move to CrunchBang as well. It boots up just so much quicker and the integrated right-click software menu is much more suited to the eee.
