Governor Christie Sets An Example For What States Need to Do

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie on CNBC explains how states are going to have to make sacrifices to deal with the recent decrease in tax revenues. Christie is making the tough budgetary decisions that governors in other embattled states are refusing to do.

In addition to this, a study conducted by Common Sense Capitalism found that state budget deficits have increased by about $50 billion in 2010, while the federal government is touting economic recovery. This leaves the question, should we have passed the Recovery Act and kicked the can down the road.

The only entities who dislike this man are the public employees of NJ. Although, I feel slightly bad for them for being denied what they were promised, but they need to understand there is no way to continue like this. Suck it up or quit your job. This is the voice of the citizens of NJ. The truth is, streets arent any safer, there's arent any less fires and children certainly arent getting any smarter. You cant justify this pay and these benefits anymore.
