Downside side effects of prozac ttm update

A suprising turn with my antidepressant Prozac, also known as fluexotine. Vivid nightmares, night sweats, screaming and kicking in my sleep. As a matter of fact, I got so violent in my sleep I decided to start sleeping on the couch so I wouldn't hurt my boyfriend in the middle of the night. I actually kicked him very hard twice in the beginning when I thought I was having just a fluke of bad dreams, so I am grateful to be on the couch! =) Still some here and there, but I feel that I finally got over the big bump.

I am on about 2 yrs of 70 mlgs a day and mood is great but I also have the body ticks and unusual dreams , night sweats ringing in my ears also but i was in bed with a deep depresion before so I am still very happy with the drug..hope this helps someone

Maybe it was just releasing all the stress in your body and depression i was like that on lexapro 3 years a go but it stop working. So i stoped them.

Hi you, I have been on anti-depressants now for nearly 7 years. I have had medication reviews every 6 months from my GP. I still get the night sweats, kicking and restless leg. I have tried to come off fluoxatine (20mg per day) only to end up depressed and suicidal thoughts. If you can live without it girl, please do so. Look into increasing your seratonin levels, research St. Johns Wart, or other natural ways to mimic what the prozac is doing for you. I wish you love and all the best, smile.xx
