@wiswain My wife passed away recently and had owned a bedroom set that was given to her by Wilma. My understanding is that Wilma acquired it with the home she purchased from Patsy Cline's Estate so many years ago. Wish someone had pictures of Patsy's house interior or her bedroom so I couuld confirm this. If you run into anyone who might have some pictures or information, please let me know. Thanks for reading this.

I've been a fan of Dorothy Moore's version of this song for years and only found out, literally tonight, that this is the original version - I love her voice and how unique the two versions sound. Great music!

Most beautiful version of Misty Blue.

What a voice!!!! Cheated out of superstardom. I know Wilma--what a sweet, kind generous person she is. Love you Wilma!!

I saw her in concert back in the sixties and she sent chills down my spine. I've never experienced anything like that before or since. Does anyone have a copy of You Can't Stop My Heart From Breaking? That was a really beautiful song and I'd love to hear it again.

I heard Engelbert Humperdink's version of this and I love it . His version sounds so much like this one, I immediately thought he had to have heard this one, loved it so much , he decided to record it like her.. I have gone on CD universe and heard every version available and this one is THE BEST !!!! (Then Engelbert's version ) I'm glad I found her, LOVE her voice and style. THANKS for POSTING

Thanks for posting this and the many others!
I enjoyed your many clips. I grew up with Wilma Burgess, she on the 1965 Magnavox, and I in the rocking chair singing along to mother's heartache
music.

Wilma was the absolute BEST ballad singer!!! I have all of her Decca LPs and singles, and she leaves me practically breathless EVERY time I listen to them. I wish someone could find some video footage from some of her appearances on the Wilburn Bros. show because I would love to see her perform.

I had the honor of playing pedal steel guitar for Wilma back in the Sixties. Only worked for her a short time but I will never forget her. She was a great lady. Listening to her wonderful voice brings tears to my eyes.
