girls from San Antonio Palopo Guatemala on Lake Atitlan we met these girls a couple of year before when we were visiting Panajachel while staying at a little hotel that had a playground our daughter invited a couple of young Mayan boys her age to a play date. When we took them home we were introduced us to their family. Two years later, the week we moved into Antigua while walking around the main square or "Plaza" we saw his sister selling "tipica". We invited her and her friends to our home. They came the next day accompanied by the father of one of the girls "the chaperone". We learned that they would come to Antigua during the weekend to sell their woven goods "tipica" to tourist and go back to San Antonio Palopo on Lake Atitlan during the week. The woven goods they sold were made by family members. In the video we are discussing how Mayan women carry babies in the "chalinas"
