  • I seen them so many times, especially in the seventies, I never get tired of them. I have to say Stephen Bladd was underrated rock drummer, he's great. Magic Dick was never know for his dance skills, But man, he looks so cool in his black leather suit, and white snake skin boots. J. is such great guitarest, he said once in a interview, he would never be as good as clapton or hendrix, but he sure can play, especially jazz.

  • I just seen the Rock and Roll Hall of fame concert on HBO, when are they going to come to their senses and induct JGB. J Geils would put on a great show when inducted.

  • Great video!

The very first concert I ever saw was Geils at the old Boston Garden on the Love Stinks Tour in '81. I was in sixth or seventh grade.

Growing up in Boston in the 70s these guys were like Gods. They definitely don't get the respect they deserve, and I think a lot of people just know their one or two hits like "Centerfold."

  • @riversidekidd You got that right! I have been singing Stephen praises for years and miss what he brought to the band. I saw this tour and loved it!!!! I was the best of everything. I am glad they finally got back together.....but it ain't the same.....he had this cool, unpretentious, lay down the back beat thing that I miss.........this performance is a good example of that. Much thanks to whoever posted it!.

  • I remember listening to them when i was like 10 and I'm 24 and still crank it when they come on the radio

  • Seeing them tonight, I can't wait!

  • @riversidekidd Rock and Roll Hall of fame is a piss stain

  • I saw J Geils open for Emerson, Lake & Palmer at Madison Square Garden. They were WAYYYY more exciting than the headliners too. A good times, party band!

  • Ahhhh the seventies, from what I can remember it was a hell of at time. Sex,drugs and very loud rock & roll......A time when if their was a law against it we broke it. Why ?? Hell, Why not...........Nothin but a party!!!!

  • NO dislikes....... and why cuz this is what good rocking music is all about... thanks for sharing
